Believe it or not we've already managed to lose one of the lizards Jack received for his birthday. By lose I don't mean it's running wild through our air ducts but lose as in dead. I stopped after the kids ice skating lessons last night and bought more food at the pet store. I gave Ken the job of dropping a few wax worms in the fish tank. An hour or so later I was in Jack's room and saw one of the two lizards in the front corner of the tank looking pretty stiff. Sure enough...it was dead.
The kids then fought over which of their lizards survived. Both think the other's died. Either way, I guess we'll be making a return trip to the pet store for another reptile. Good thing they only cost $5. At the rate we're going it could be a long year.
